Hello! My name is Emma. I am a clinical social worker who provides therapy services to individuals 18+ experiencing a wide array of mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, grief/loss, anger and self-control, relationship conflict, and trauma. My hope is to foster a warm and comfortable environment where you can explore your authentic self and learn to pursue the life you wish to lead. While I utilize a mixture of techniques based on individual needs, my primary practice frameworks include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. Social workers recognize that individual suffering is often related to and reinforced by harmful systems that are outside of our control. My treatment approach aims to center your unique identities and consider the impacts of these systems on your well-being through culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and gender-affirming care. I would be honored to accompany you on your healing journey!
