I believe that we are all capable of learning, healing, and growing in our relationships with self and with others, no matter where we have come from, and no matter where we may find ourselves in this moment. When I meet a new client, I take time to get to know your personal history, your values, your strengths, your struggles, how you see yourself, and I then work alongside you to choose which therapeutic approaches and lenses will help you find the answers you need in your life right now.

I love working with individual adults and teens, couples, and families on diverse issues including anxiety and depression, anger and emotion expression, relationship problems, communication skills, LGBTQ and identity exploration, career and life transitions, grief and loss, parenting challenges, and divorce and co-parenting.

I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Prepare/Enrich (for couples), and I also have extensive training in substance use disorders and addictions and am a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). My approach as a clinician is person-centered, humanistic, family or systems-oriented, and attachment informed. My bachelor's training was in conflict resolution, restorative justice, and mediation. I also offer supervision for limited licensed counselors (LLPCs).

I look forward to providing you support and helping you reach your personal goals in a manner that clarifies and affirms your values, while also identifying some ways of thinking or coping that may no longer be helpful for you.
