There are times in life we reach a breaking point and are unsure where to turn, looking for comfort, guidance, or someone to listen to us. Counseling can help you discover an inner strength during your time of need. During this difficult time, I can assist you in uncovering the power you hold within to overcome your greatest obstacles and embrace a happier, healthier identity. A counselor changed my life, and I made the decision to pursue a career in counseling myself. I understand the strength it takes to begin the healing process and will work with you each step of the way. I have experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions, stress, grief, phobias, self-harm, and relationship issues. I completed my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University with an internship at Spring Forest Counseling in Okemos, MI. My clinical style is based on the practices of cognitive-behavioral therapy. I strive to create a safe therapeutic environment for you to feel comfortable being yourself. I look forward to working with you as you begin this new journey in your life!
