Unresolved trauma can create invisible emotional wounds. The deep emotional scarring of these wounds can negatively impact both personal and professional lives. Early trauma is often at the root of mental illness, including depression and anxiety.

I specialize in trauma focused therapy solutions for adults, children and families. Together we will explore your goals and create a roadmap for progress. We will walk the path towards increased well-being together, using a mix of client centered therapeutic methods delivered in a warm and supportive environment. I have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). These modalities are among the most proven and evidence based trauma interventions available to clients today.

I have over a decade of experience working with individuals who have experienced complex trauma. This background, and my full confidence in EMDR and DBT, increase my capacity to deliver treatment effectively and efficiently. I am a Licensed Master's Level Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Master of Social Work degree at the University of Michigan with honors. I also draw upon experience that comes from working in the adult and child welfare systems and from my personal journey as a foster and adoptive parent caring for children with complex needs.

Healing is possible and my goal is to holistically support each client through the healing process. It's our unique pasts that make us who we are. While we cannot change past traumas, we can change how those past experiences live within us. In working together, you can find the courage and the empowerment needed to heal. Get the help you need and deserve.
