Therapy is a way of nurturing the process of self-exploration, healing, and growth to help positive change occur. Through active involvement within the sessions, I strive to assist clients in gaining deeper insight and identifying strengths so that clients can use these attributes to overcome difficulties and achieve their goals. I believe that building safety, respect, and trust are the most important part of a positive therapeutic experience. The resulting self-empowerment and improved quality of life and can provide a lifetime of benefits.

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and families to address trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, and difficulty adjusting to major life changes. My primary areas of interest including adolescent to adulthood transitions, trauma, and incorporating interventions that honor the mind-body connection.

Clients have described me as energetic, caring, open-minded, and creative. I've helped clients and their families heal from trauma or difficult transitions since 2004. I recently became certified in Trauma-Focused therapy.
